Sondre Norheim and Morgedal are internationally known names in the world of skiing.Words like Slalom, Telemark-turn and Telemarking have their origin here in this part of Telemark.
This is a translation from the Norwegian Ski Federation which suits the ski school activity in Morgedal perfectly. Every year –ski play days are arranged in Morgedal on what is known as the world’s first ski park… the historic fields of Kleiv were one of the traditional meeting spots for skiers from all around the valley to gather, play on skis and test their skills and equipment in a variety of ski challenges.
